Drug Store Haul

I ended up going to Shoppers Drug Mart because they had a few things one sale that I wanted, just to walk out with only one thing that was on sale. Very typical of me.

Revlon Super Lustrous Lip Gloss: Peach Petal

After I bought one of these lip glosses in Pink Pop I had to get another color.  Unlike Pink Pop this color can't be worn on its own because it comes off a little bit streaky  but it works perfectly when it's paired with a nude lipstick for a nude lip. 

Sally Hanson No Chip Acrylic Top Coat
I bought this because I was in need of a new top coat and was pulled in by the extra shine that it says it'll give. After using it for the few weeks I don't really think it does anything for me. It doesn't stop my nails from chipping any less than without a top coat and it doesn't make them any extra glossy either. I actually think that it makes my nails chip faster. Overall I'm very disappointed in this top coat.

L'oreal Voluminous Million Lashes Mascara
 I haven't bought a drug store mascara in over a year but I've heard some pretty great things about this mascara recently so I thought that I would give it a try in an effort to cut my spending down a little bit. It give's good volume and length. I think its a great replacement for my high end mascara when I'm on more of a budget. The only thing I didn't like about it was the smell. I has a strong chemical smell that stays around for a few minutes after applying it. Its something that I've gotten used to but some people may hate it.

Maybelline Eye Studio Lasting Drama Gel Liner
This was the product that I was the most skeptical of when I bought it because I didn't think it was going to have good staying power. I was using Sephora's Waterproof Smoky Creme Liner and I hated it because no matter what I did it always ended up smudging onto my brow bone. This however doesn't do that. It's really easy to apply, I've used it will both the brush it comes with and my own. I prefer to use my angled eyeliner brush but if I had to I could get by with the one it comes with.
