Empties: Products I've Used Up

I've finish quite a few products since the beginning of 2013 and I decided it was about time to do an empties post and tell you what I thought about each product and whether or not I would repurchase or not.

Skin Care

Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel: I picked up the smallest size of this late last summer to try and I liked it, but I found that when it started to get cold out it wasn't moisturizing enough for me. It's nothing special, it didn't break me out but it wasn't an amazing moisturizer.
I Might Repurchase

Neutrogena Oil-Free Eye Make-up Remover: I loved this makeup remover. It took off every bit of makeup I had on my face, including waterproof mascara, without any hassle. It also lasted me a really long time.
I Will Repurchase

St. Ives Apricot Scrub: I bought this in the fall because my skin was in need of a really good scrub. I loved this. It got rid of all the dead skin and made my face so smooth. Its really gritty so I made sure I wasn't too rough when I was using it but it worked well for my skin.
I Will Repurchase

Philosophy's Hope In A Jar: I also bought this is the smallest size to try it out. I got this when my Clinique moisturizer wasn't moisturizing enough for anymore. At first I hated the smell of it and I didn't use it very much but after I ran out of all my other moisturizers I wanted to use this one up to and I fell in love with it. I got used to the smell after a while but it does linger on your face during the day. I don't break out as much since I started to use this and my skin looks and feels so much better than before.
I Have Repurchased

Shiseido Facial Cotten(Not shown): I used these to take off my makeup or with Bioderma to cleanse my face. They're not really necessary because any cotton pad would do but once I started using these I could never go back to regular cotton pads. These are so soft on my face and their more gentle when I'm taking off my makeup. Even though these are $9 a bag at Shoppers they lasted me a long time because I only need to use 1 each time.

Hair Products

Dove Nutritive Therapy Nourishing Oil Care Conditioner: I got this after trying the shampoo and the daily treatment from this line. It conditioned my hair well and didn't weigh it down. it left my hair nice and soft. I love the smell of this line its not too in your face but I can still smell it in my hair long after I get out of the shower.
I Will Repurchase

Dove Nutritive Therapy Nourishing Oil Care Shampoo: The first time I bought this was in a gift set last July on a whim and I loved it. I've bought this countless numbers of times in the last year and I currently have a bottle of it in my shower now. It has become my HG shampoo.
I Will Continue To Repurchase

Dove Nutritive Therapy Nourishing Oil Care Daily Treatment Conditioner: This came in the same gift set as the shampoo when I first bought it. Its a lot thicker than a regular conditioner almost like a hair mask. I found it too heavy for my hair on a daily basis so I switch to using this as a bi-weekly treatment. Its supposed to have 3x the key conditioning ingredients as the regular conditioner. I think there are better hair treatments out there.
I Won't Repurchase

Batiste Dry Shampoo Original: I bought this after hearing everyone on YouTube rave about this and seeing good reviews for it online. Its the first dry shampoo I've ever tried. I took me a while to get the hang of using it but afterwards I loved it. I wasn't a huge fan of the smell and I found it to be a bit pricey but I don't think I could go without a dry shampoo anymore.
I Have Repurchased

Marc Anthony Repairing Macadamia Oil Shampoo: This was on sale a couple of months ago and I wanted to try something with macadamia oil in it and this had good reviews so I decided to give it a try. Its sulfate free which is better for your hair and because mine is damaged from years of colouring and heat damage I thought it would be good. I didn't find it did anything special for my hair and its twice as much as my Dove shampoo.
I Will Not Repurchase

Body Care

Philosophy's Vanilla Birthday Cake Shampoo, Shower Gel & Bubble Bath: This was my free birthday gift from Sephora two years ago. At first I hated the smell and I didn't like super sweet scents but the smell is gone once you rinse it off. I mainly used this as a shower gel which I love, it layered well and didn't irritate my skin. I used it once in a bath but it didn't create bubbles very well and I didn't try again. I liked it but I probably wouldn't spend the money on a full size bottle often.
I Might Repurchase

Cake Milk Made Velveteen Hand Creme: I picked this up when i was in line at Sephora. It was moiturizing and it wasn't greasy. I wasn't a huge fan on the scent though. It smelt like vanilla and raspberries. I love the scent of vanilla but I'm not so much of one with raspberries. It was also pretty expensive for a hand creme. I think I'll stick to my Hand Food.
I Will Not Repurchase

I Love... Strawberries & Milkshake Bubble Bath & Shower Gel: I got this in a set of six around christmas. They remind me of the Philosophy ones so I . I used it as a bubble bath; it smelt amazing and worked really well.
I Will Repurchase

B&BW Body Butter Paris Amour: This is the first body butter I've tried from B&BW and I loved it. I have really dry legs and after I shower I need to moisturize my legs or they get itchy. This was amazing; it was super moisturizing, it sunk into my skin fast and it didn't irritate my skin. I loved the scent of this. It says its a blend of French tulips, apple blossoms and sparkling champagne.
I Will Repurchase

Makeup

Nivea Lip Balm: This is just a plain lip balm. I loved using this during the winter when my lips were really dry and my EOS lip balm wasn't moisturizing enough. It lasted a really long time for me; I bought it last summer so it lasted more than six months. Its become a winter staple for me.
I Will Repurchase

L'oreal Voluminous Power Collagen Waterproof Mascara: I bought this after I ran out of my Million Lashes mascara. I hoped it would be just as good but it didn't stand up to it. I flaked on me throughout the day and smudged really easy on me. Over all it was pretty disappointing.
I Will Not Repurchase

Revlon Brow Gel: I got this from Shoppers a long time ago. It just got old and dirty and if I touch my brows after using this it would start to flake off. I don't think this is even available anymore, I haven't seen it in any drugstore near me at least.
I Will Not Repurchase

Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray: I got this in a summer essential kit from Sephora last summer. I used it on and off until it was gone. It set my makeup good. I would use it after I powdered my face and  it would make my makeup stay on literally all night.
I Will Repurchase

L'oreal Voluminous Million Lashes Mascara: I love this mascara. It gives my lashes length and volume and I've never had a problem with clumping. It never smudged or flaked on me during the day. Over all a really good mascara.
I Will Repurchase

YSL Faux Cils Mascara: This has a cult following with Youtubers and blogger so I thought I'd try it. I don't think it did anything for my lashes. I was a really wet formula and it would clump on me and way them down. This also dried out really fast and because I would go back to my Million Lashes so much because I didn't like this one as much I didn't get to use a lot of it because it dried out on me. For me it was not worth the huge price tag.
I Will Not Repurchase

L'oreal Voluminous Carbon Black Waterproof Mascara: I liked this mascara at first and I thought it stood up to my Million Lashes mascara but the more I used it the more it smudged on me. I didn't smudge a little, it smudged a lot and looking like a racoon is never a good look to have.
I Will Not Repurchase
